Collaborative Academic Research Efforts for Tourette Syndrome Act of 2017 (HR 427 / S 1147, 115th Congress)
What it does
Amends the Public Health Service Act to provide for the expansion, intensification, and coordination of the programs and activities of the National Institutes of Health with respect to Tourette syndrome.
HR 427 / S 1147 would expand the research programs and activities of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to include research on Tourette syndrome. The bill would also direct the Department of Health and Human Services to award grants and contracts for planning, establishing, and running Collaborative Research Centers for Tourette Syndrome.
