The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), a branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) located in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, has two unpaid bioethics internship positions available in the summer of 2019.  The interns will work with Dr. David B. Resnik, NIEHS Bioethicist.  Internship activities will include participating in a seminar on ethical and legal issues in research involving human subjects, attending institutional review board and medical ethics committee meetings, and assisting Dr. Resnik with a research project.  Starting and ending times are flexible, but should be no earlier than May 13 and no later than August 16.  Since these are unpaid positions, interns should be prepared to cover the costs of housing and other expenses.  To apply for a position, please send a letter of interest, curriculum vita, and two letters of reference by email.
