The House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, will hold a markup session on nine bills related to telecommunications and 5G technologies.
Specific bills include:
- HR 4229: "Broadband Deployment Accuracy and Technological Availability (Broadband DATA) Act"
- HR 4227: "Mapping Accuracy Promotes Services (MAPS) Act"
- HR 5000: "Studying How to Harness Airwave Resources Efficiently (SHARE) Act of 2019"
- HR 4998: "Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act"
- HR 4461: "Network Security Information Sharing Act of 2019"
- HR 2881: "Secure 5G and Beyond Act of 2019"
- HR 4500: "Promoting United States Wireless Leadership Act of 2019"
- H Res 575: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that all stakeholders in the deployment of 5G communications infrastructure should carefully consider and adhere to the recommendations of "The Prague Proposals"
- HR 5035: "Television Viewer Protection Act of 2019"
