House Markup: Bills on Pipelines, Nuclear Waste, Tobacco, PFAS, and Telecommunications

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce will hold a markup session to consider eighteen bills, some of which relate to pipelines, nuclear waste, tobacco, PFAS, and telecommunications. Among others, the Committee will consider the following bills:

  • HR 5120: Safe, Accountable, Fair, and Environmentally Responsible Pipeline (SAFER  Pipeline) Act of 2019
  • HR 2339: Reversing the Youth Tobacco Epidemic Act of 2019
  • HR 1603: Alan Reinstein Ban Asbestos Now Act of 2019
  • HR 535: PFAS Action Act of 2019
  • HR 2699: Nuclear Waste Policy Amendments Act of 2019
  • HR 4229: Broadband Deployment Accuracy and Technological Availability Act
  • HR 5000: Studying How to Harness Airwave Resources Efficiently (SHARE) Act of 2019
  • HR 4998: Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act of 2019
  • HR 4461: Network Security Information Sharing Act of 2019
  • HR 2881: Secure 5G and Beyond Act of 2019
  • HR 4500: Promoting United States Wireless Leadership Act of 2019
  • H Res 575: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that all stakeholders in the deployment of 5G communications infrastructure should carefully consider and adhere to the recommendation of “The Prague Proposals”
