The DOC Research Institute is offering an internship for 6 months, full-time in the Research Department starting as soon as possible. The Intern will assist the Research team in providing support to Research Department’s staff, including support for primary research, as well key events organization and publications activities.

Contributing to research projects and writing reports and papers;
Collecting and analyzing data;
Researching and compiling of different data and resources;
Drafting weekly and monthly reviews;
Editing reports and other outputs;
Participating in relevant workshops and conferences;
Assisting in planning and organizing project events including invitation, attendance, travel and accommodation arrangements;
Minute taking for the Research Department’s internal meetings and conference-calls.
Bachelor degree in a related field
Postgraduate studies in either political science or economics, socials sciences, internal relation
Demonstrable experience and skills in building positive and productive relationships, with colleagues And Other Stakeholders Experience In Conducting And Writing Research, sufficient to enable the individual to solicit and select research that will result in a high-quality publication that addresses the diverse interests of the readership
Strong corporate ethos and effective team member, able to achieve an appropriate balance between scientific interests and organization-wide interests
An effective approach to managing key networks and relationships, demonstrating an appropriate balance between empowerment, support and assertiveness
An eye for detail and be very accurate in their work
Excellent grammar and spelling skills in English, another language is an advantage
Proficiency in various computer software programs including Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with statistical programs (Stata, E views, RATS, SPSS, etc.) is an advantage
Strong administration and organizational skills
Very good time management skills
Resilient and able to work under pressure
