Meeting: NIH Fogarty International Center Advisory Board

The National Institutes of Health announces a meeting of the Fogarty International Center Advisory Board. Agenda topics include:

  • What has been accomplished and what is needed to advance infectious disease research and achieve the end of AIDS?
  • Noncommunicable diseases: how can we leverage existing research and training platforms stem the tide of deaths and disability?
  • Global Brain Disorders: we're on the agenda, where do we go from here? What are the priorities for advancing the global mental health research agenda?
  • Multi-generational models of long-term capacity building: the trainees become the trainers.
