Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Prevention's National Advisory Council will be holding a meeting.
The Council was established to advise the Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services; the Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use, SAMHSA; and Director.
SAMHSA is the agency within the US Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities.
