The Department of Health and Human Services's National Toxicology Program (NTP) coordinates toxicology research and testing across HHS. The program was also created to strengthen the science base in toxicology, develop and validate improved testing methods, and provide information about potentially toxic chemicals to health regulatory and research agencies, scientific and medical communities, and the public.

The NTP Board of Scientific Counselors (BSC) is a federally chartered advisory committee whose members are appointed by the HHS Secretary. The BSC provides scientific advice to the Director for the NTP and evaluates the scientific merit of the NTP's intramural and collaborative programs.

The BSC will be meeting. More information about the meeting, including an agenda, will be available at the NTP website.
